Nervous About Report?
Don't worry, I was too. I found this one of the most intimidating aspects of becoming a successful med-surg nurse.
When I would get report, I was always worried I wouldn't ask an important question, was confused by a lot but didn't know what questions were reasonable, and was somehow instantly flustered.
When I was giving report, I felt like I was handing in my report card to the on-coming nurse (no pun intended) and terrified to get a bad grade. I didn't want to be judged or look like I couldn't cut it.
We definitely didn't cover this in nursing school!
