Kati Kleber, MSN RN CCRN-K 

Kati has been a nurse since 2010 with experience in both cardiothoracic and vascular med-surg as well as neurosurgical intensive care and has maintained her critical care national certification since 2015. Kati is a published author with the American Nurses Association and has been featured on many media outlets such as Reader's Digest, AARP, NPR, US World News and Report, the TODAY Show, and more. She is a national speaker on nursing-related topics, was awarded Nurse of the Year by the Charlotte Business Journal, and was named one of the Great 100 Nurses of North Carolina, both in 2015. She is the nurse educator behind the FreshRN® platform, which consists of books, a blog, podcasts, and courses to support new graduate nurses in their transition from school to bedside.

John Russell, DNP APRN FNP-BC CCRN RNFA

John works full time in cardiothoracic surgery and provides inpatient and outpatient management of surgical patients as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Additionally, he teaches at multiple universities and serves as the APRN/PA Program Director - College Division for the National Institute of First Assistants, Inc.

His experience ranges from acute to chronic management and his focus is pharmacology, pathophysiology, and high-fidelity simulation techniques.

John began his career in health care in 2004 as a paramedic, then became a bedside critical care nurse working in surgical intensive care before obtaining his Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

He owns and operates Skills On Point LLC, an education company for advance practitioners, as well as Mission Skills Inc, a 501(c)(3) serving healthcare professionals with high-quality simulation and procedural training. Mission Skills exists to bring opportunity for all healthcare professionals regardless of their financial capacity through donations of time and resources, and corporate philanthropy.

Elizabeth is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago for inpatient orthopedic surgery. She has been a nurse since 2006, working in medical, surgical, and cardiac units, certified in med-surg and critical care before completing her MSN. She is passionate about medical missions and serving those without means/access to medical care.

Amber Nibling, MSN RN-BC

Amber is the Director of Clinical Education at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Amber has been a nurse for over a decade with experience in cardiology, oncology, and pain management. In her current role, she oversees the Nurse Residency Program, as well as other Transition to Practice Programs in addition to overseeing all clinical education at the organization. She is a Netflix Champion (particularly an aficionado of the Office), sports enthusiast, Reddit pursuer, and confident in her humor (she thinks she's funny).

John is a licensed clinical professional counselor at the Rock Counseling Group in Champaign, Illinois. John is trained and experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy and has experienced high-level crisis situations in residential treatment centers and as a member of a counseling team. John is experienced in working with youth and adults with disruptive behavioral disorders, ADHD, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders and trauma, bipolar disorders, and intense grief. Additionally, John has experience working with couples, individuals suffering from personality disorders and athletes at various levels.

MBA Candidate

John is currently an Engagement Manager with Minksey and Company in St. Louis, MO. Previously, John worked as a registered nurse in various specialties like flight nursing, critical care, ortho/trauma, interventional radiology, and more. He also served as a medic in the US Air Force for eight years.

Samantha Kleber, DPT PT


Samantha graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois with a minor in Gerontology. She then obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Governors State University in 2014. Samantha has worked in neuro, critical care units and step-down, as well as oncology, orthopedics, general surgery, and inpatient rehab.

Samuel Kleber, DPT PT Cert MDT


Samuel graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in from Governors State University in 2014. He has spent time working in a skilled nursing facility, acute care, and in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Since graduating, he has earned a certification in mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT), which is known as the McKenzie method. Samuel currently works at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, Indiana.
